Went to Rodney Wayne the day before I got my hair coloured for a strand test to see how it would turn out as I advised the hairdresser that I had alot of dye build up on my hair. I have dark brown hair and was wanting golden brown highlights. She did the strand test and then called me to say that we could achieve the colour I pointed out in the booklet. Anyway she put the highlights in my hair, after the timmer went off, reset it twice because the bleach was obviously not working, and ended up having singed off hair because of this. She eventually took the foils out and my hair was literally bright red where the highlights were supposed to be. She had to end up putting a dark brown tonner over the highlights so I could walk out looking 'acceptable' and my hair ended up being the same colour as when I walked in, apart from the fact it was singed off, and that the tonner washed out after 3 weeks and I had bright red streaks through my hair! Serious amatuers! When she did the strand test she used a weaker bleach and took that as an indication that she could use a stronger one and thats why it got messed up. Totally unacceptable - didn't pay obviously but I came out worse off, it was over a year ago and my hair still hasn't recovered - as Brooke would say SHAME ON YOU!
